Midlife crisis signs and how to deal with it


Midlife crisis can be described as a loss of self confidence, feeling of anxiety or disappointment that occurs in early middle age.
For individuals this condition is most common between the ages of 40 though to 60. While Midlife crisis can last between the periods of 3-10 in men, most women come to their senses in 2-5 years.
Both men women experience midlife crisis, but they experience this crisis differently.
Men focus on their achievement, and their desire to prove their success to others around them, while women tend to focus on their
appearance, sexual attraction and what to do next’s when their parental duties have ended.
People who spend their lives dedicated to fulfilling their aspiration and objectives are less likely to have midlife crisis; growing older is easy for them. Others go through life on auto-pilot, and suddenly realize that they are getting older, time has passed them by, and that they have not achieve very much.
At this stage of their life they experience several physical changes like weigh gain/loss, wrinkles, sagging skin, hair loss, poor eye sight, graying of hair and hormonal fluctuation. Regular exercise, and maintain of nutritional diet may help to sustain one’s physical and mental health during these years of transitions.

Many people do not believe in the concept of mid life crisis, which make living though one all the more difficult. A midlife crisis may be the beginning of a personal, emotional and financial decline in an adult’s life. Watch for the signs; take step to deal with the crisis accordingly.
