Ø  Dasuki Appears in Court, Says He’s Incapacitated to Give Evidence in Metuh’s Case

The former National Security Adviser (NSA), Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd), has appeared before a Federal High Court in Abuja in line with the subpoena issued on him by the court to give evidence in the trial of former National Publicity Secretary of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Mr .Olisah Metuh, over N400 million corruption charges.
Dasuki who was looking cool, calm and unruffled, stormed the court in compliance with the subpoena issued on him by Justice Okon Abang at the instance of Metuh.

Ø  I Don’t Have N1billion To Give Jonathan, Metuh Tells Court
The embattled former National Publicity Secretary to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Olisa Metuh has told the court that he cannot afford the sum of N1 billion to give former President Goodluck Jonathan to appear as his defence in court.
It will be recalled that Former President Goodluck Jonathan has earlier asked a Federal High Court in Abuja to compel Metuh, to pay N1billion to cover his travel expenses to appear as a defence witness in Metuh’s trial.

Ø  EFCC RAISES ALARM ON PLOT TO FRAME MAGU
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has raised the alarm over an alleged plot to frame its Acting Chairman, Mr Ibrahim Magu, with ownership of assets abroad.
Spokesman for the commission, Mr Wilson Uwujaren, said in a statement on Wednesday that “shadowy interests at the receiving end” of the agency’s anti-corruption campaign were behind the alleged scheme.
