Ø Osinbajo snubs reporters as he visits Buhari in London
The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, on Tuesday refused to field questions from the media, as he visited President Muhammadu Buhari in the UK.
Osinbajo was spotted at the Abuja House, the Nigerian High Commission in London, by a Reuter’s reporter late in the evening.

Ø Melaye: Senate, Lawyers at War over Power to Recall

While the Red Chamber insisted that it has a role to play in the recall process of a legislator, the experts, including constitutional lawyers and members of the inner bar argued that the power to recall lies mainly with the constituents of a lawmaker and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
This is even as the Senate and Kogi State government traded tackles over the ongoing recall process of Senator Dino Melaye (APC Kogi West) by his constituents and INEC, with the Red Chamber maintaining that the state government was behind it.

Ø Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu’s wife performs ‘ritual’ to actualize Igbo nation

A video has emerged online of the wife to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, Uchechi Kanu performing a ritual aimed at actualizing Biafra.
In the video, Uchechi, alongside some members of IPOB could be seen holding a chain painted in the colour of acclaimed Biafra flag and at the tip a padlock signifying that the Igbo nation has been in bondage.

Ø Aisha’s comments: Senate, Afenifere, others express concern
The metaphoric depiction of hyenas and jackals riding roughshod over other animals is reflective of a divided Presidency, the Senate, Afenifere, and stakeholders from across the country said, yesterday.

Among those who joined the Senate and Afenifere to comment on the metaphorical anecdote shared between First Lady Aisha Buhari and Senator Shehu Sani were erstwhile presidential spokesman, Mr. Akin Oshuntokun; human rights lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome, SAN, and some members of the House of Representatives.

Ø Lagos landlord, Christ Embassy trade words over rent arrears

A landlord of a building on Ogbokri Estate, Okerugbe Town, Ikotun, Lagos State, Godspower Ogbokri, and a parish of the Christ Embassy Church are locking horns over alleged six-month rent arrears estimated at N400,000.
Ogbokri, 61, also accused the church of owing electricity bill of N113,267 and damaging the gate to the building before it was vacated on February 24, 2017
