Makarfi announces what will happen to Sheriff for causing problem in party
The National Chairman of the People’s Democratic
Party, PDP, Ahmed Makarfi has declared “general amnesty” for its members
involved in the leadership tussle that last for over one year.
Makarfi made the announcement while reacting to a
questions from journalists on whether the party would sanction the sacked
National Chairman, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff.

awards N20, 000 against lawyer
A Lagos Federal High Court yesterday awarded N20, 000
against Olukoya Ogungbeje, counsel to Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, also known as
Evans, who has been arrested and charged for kidnapping for failing to come to
court.
A vacation judge, Abdulaziz Anka, who awarded the sum
also cautioned Ogungbeje to desist from acts unbecoming of a legal
practitioner.

lose status without Igbo, others – Ganduje
The Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, on
Wednesday said Kano would not have risen to become a commercial nerve centre to
reckon with without the presence of the Igbo and other ethnic nationalities.
He also blamed the elite for the ongoing agitations by
some sections of the country to secede.
Ganduje made the comments when the Abia State
Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, visited him over the death of Danmasanin Kano,
Alhaji Maitama Sule.

government approves equal salary for HND, BSC holders
The Federal Government has approved same salary for
holders of University degrees and Higher National Diploma in all the
para-military services.
To this end, the Civil Defense, Fire Service,
Immigration and Prisons Board has directed that all officers with HND should
be upgraded to COMPASS 08, which is the salary grade level for holders of
degree certificates at entry point.

drinks is one of the leading causes of erectile dysfunction.
Erectile dysfunction is the inability to develop and
maintain an erection for satisfactory sexual intercourse.
The research also shows that large percentage of men
do not limit the volume of soft drinks in their diet and consume them much more
often than women.
