him in his quest to make Ibrahim Magu substantive chairman of the Economic

control of his government and should consider overhauling his administration forthwith;
two former Nigerian leaders have told PREMIUM TIME.
In separate interviews with this newspaper on
Wednesday, the former commanders-in-chief, who spoke on strict anonymity, said
Mr. Buhari should be very worried about the direction his administration is
headed.

in Abuja has paved way for a ‘smooth sail’ to victory for the candidate of the
All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Umeh, in the Anambra
Central Senatorial rerun election by dashing the hopes of the All Progressives
Congress (APC) to field a candidate in the election.
The Court dismissed a suit brought by Sharon Ikeazor
seeking to compel the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to
accept her as a substitute to Dr. Chris Ngige.

confirm Magu – Sagay.
The Chairman of the
Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption, Itse Sagay has claimed that
the Senate refused to confirm Ibrahim Magu as substantive chairman of the
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) because he is ‘too good.’
Sagay said the senators feel threatened by Magu’s
commitment to the job, hence their second rejection of his nomination.
